In 1971 after serving a tour in the US Navy Mark Sr. returned to his home in Rochester, NY. During the next 19 years he was actively involved in the HVAC industry including ownership in multiple successful companys. In 1990 he sold his HVAC business and relocated to Eustis, Florida where he continued in the HVAC trade as a service technician and as a service manager for several companies in the Central Florida area.
After receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps Mark Jr. moved his family to Mount Dora, Florida. He then continued his HVAC education while working with Mark Sr. In August 2000 Mark Jr. earned his HVAC contractors license and father and son opened Mark Draper Inc. Now 12 employees strong, including 4 N.A.T.E. certified technicians (a national certification for air conditioning technicians) are part of the Mark Draper Air Conditioning and Heating team. You’ve probably seen the Mark Draper trucks all over central Florida.
